I like this quote and just thought I'd post this quick and cogent reminder to enjoy the small pleasures of each day, because as I often say on this blog, you never know what day will be your last, or when your life might change dramatically. Enjoy the now, not always putting off joy for tomorrow...

I also wanted to mention a book I heard mentioned on the radio the other day and I just looked it up, and it looks really interesting. Save me from Myself: How I found God, Quit KORN, Kicked drugs, and Lived to Tell My Story by Brian "Head" Welch, the former lead guitarist of the rock band KORN, who got saved by Jesus Christ and kicked his meth addiction. The story is told for the first time here. I am going to have to read this. He has a new solo album called "It's Time to See Religion Die" which is interesting given my own title to the book I'm working on, and the fact that he's a born-again Christian.
