This is absolutely incredible. This is the research I'll be reporting on April 5-14 for Discovery Channel Online's Shark Week blog. The researchers catch the sharks using "shark rodeo," they use a rope to catch it by its tail fins and then bring it back to the boat. There are two species they're working with - reef sharks and tiger sharks. They're not on Youtube but will open a streaming video (WMV) on your computer.

What a cool adventure you have ahead with the shark wranglers!
And so important that you're covering the plight of the sharks. Ellen Pikitch, director of the PEW oceans program, has predicted a huge wave of coming ocean extinctions, and many species of sharks are on that list. Without top predators, ecosystems fall apart.
Tough sell, though, ever since Jaws created widespread shark terror...though under 10 people are killed by sharks in most years.
